Well, yes! And I remembered that AFTER I turned in all my registration forms to the government.
In all seriousness though, being born and raised on Duwamish/Coast Salish Land (Seattle) and living so close to the water has impacted me greatly.
The ocean demands respect—she is unapologetically herself. She is capable of great power, grace, violence, mercy, and friendship. The sea is a beautiful role model—and it is when we can see and accept all of her characteristics within ourselves, and utilize them with goodwill and intention that we can truly move towards healing.

My approach to therapy is deeply relational. I believe that healing happens within the context of a safe, trusting relationship—and that the connection between therapist and client is at the heart of meaningful change. You are the expert on your own life, and I’m here to walk alongside you, offering support, reflection, and challenge as you work toward your goals.
Therapy with me isn’t always easy. I’ll invite you to explore new perspectives, lean into discomfort, and do the deeper emotional work that fosters lasting growth and self-understanding.

I offer both in-person and virtual therapy. In-person sessions are available in Seattle (location details coming soon), and I also see clients anywhere in Washington State through secure telehealth sessions.

At STSS, weekly sessions are the standard starting point. Meeting consistently allows us to build trust and momentum as I get to know you and your goals. As we establish a strong foundation, we can explore alternative scheduling options that best support your progress.

Initial appointments are 60 minutes, allowing time for a thorough intake and goal setting. Ongoing sessions are 50 minutes each, providing a consistent and focused space for meaningful progress..

At this time, I am not in-network with insurance providers, but I’m in the process of becoming paneled. In the meantime, I can provide you with a superbill—a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Coverage for out-of-network services varies, so I encourage you to contact your insurance provider directly to learn more about your out-of-network mental health benefits..

If you feel adrift or caught in a storm, therapy can provide the tools to help you find your bearings and sail toward a more peaceful horizon.
Therapy at STSS may be a good fit if you're experiencing stress, anxiety, obsessive thoughts, or difficulty moving past a traumatic event. It can also be helpful if you're navigating identity-related challenges or seeking a space that honors your lived experiences, especially as someone with marginalized identities.
We also support couples who want to strengthen their relationship, improve communication, or work through conflict together.
If you’re unsure whether therapy is right for you, we can discuss if we are the right fit during the intake process.
